Regional Finance Manager – Singapore
Location: Singapore Travel Requirement: Regular business travel to Johor Bahru, Malaysia and other regional locations
We are looking for an experienced Regional Finance Manager to join our Singapore team. This role will support and oversee finance operations across the region, with a strong focus on our manufacturing operations in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
The successful candidate should have solid finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, strong business partnering capabilities, and be comfortable working across different countries and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee finance and accounting activities for regional entities, with particular focus on the Malaysia manufacturing operation.
- Work closely with the Johor Bahru factory management team on budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial performance.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, working capital, CAPEX and factory profitability.
- Review monthly financial results, identify key variances and provide management insights and recommendations.
- Support regional budgeting, cash flow planning and financial analysis.
- Strengthen internal controls, finance processes and reporting across regional entities.
- Coordinate with local finance teams, auditors, tax advisors, banks and other external parties.
- Support regional business expansion, new projects and other finance-related initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with local statutory requirements.
- Travel regularly to Johor Bahru and, when required, other regional locations.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
- At least 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably with regional responsibilities.
- Manufacturing finance experience is strongly preferred, particularly in costing, inventory management and factory financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital.
- Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience would be an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Comfortable working independently in a regional and cross-cultural environment.
- Willing and able to travel regularly to Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
