Job Summary

You will lead culinary operations in a food factory by preparing spices and bases, developing new dishes, managing ingredient procurement and inventory, planning menus with cost control, leading and training teams, maintaining hygiene and equipment, ensuring food quality, and complying with safety and legal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare spices and bases accurately to support consistent food production
  • Develop new dishes by creating recipes that meet quality and taste standards
  • Manage ingredient procurement and inventory to ensure timely supply and minimize waste
  • Plan menus and control costs to optimize profitability and resource use
  • Lead and train teams to enhance skills and maintain operational efficiency
  • Maintain food factory hygiene and equipment to comply with safety and cleanliness standards
  • Ensure food product quality control by monitoring production processes and final outputs
  • Follow standard procedures for food safety to prevent contamination and hazards
  • Comply with legal regulations related to food production and factory operations
  • Innovate and improve processes and products to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Perform duties within a food factory environment adhering to operational protocols

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience in culinary operations, food production, central kitchen, or food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of recipe development, food preparation, spice and base production, and food quality control.
  • Experience in ingredient procurement, inventory management, menu planning, and food cost control.
  • Ability to lead, train, and supervise culinary and food production teams.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and applicable food production regulations.
  • Good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain consistent food quality, minimize wastage, and improve production efficiency.
  • Willingness to work in a food factory environment and comply with company SOPs, safety requirements, and operational standards.
