Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Forklift Trainer to conduct WSQ Operate Forklift and Forklift Operator Refresher Training (FORT) programmes. The successful candidate will deliver both theory and practical training, assess trainees' competency, and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct WSQ Operate Forklift and Forklift Operator Refresher Training programmes.
  • Deliver classroom, practical, and workplace-based training.
  • Assess trainees according to the approved assessment plans and competency standards.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations and supervise forklift operation exercises.
  • Ensure compliance with WSH legislation, Singapore Standard SS 573, and training provider procedures.
  • Maintain accurate training, attendance, and assessment records.
  • Participate in courseware review and continual improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure training equipment and forklifts are maintained in safe working condition.
  • Support audits conducted by SSG, MOM, WSH Council, or internal quality teams.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  • Technical & Industry Qualifications
  • Valid WSQ Operate Forklift certification or equivalent forklift operator qualification.
  • ACTA/ACLP
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on forklift operating experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Workplace Safety and Health Act
  • WSH Regulations
  • Singapore Standard SS 573 (Safe Use of Powered Counterbalanced Forklifts)
  • Forklift operational safety and risk management practices.
  • Adult Education Qualifications
