· Provide academic support for students preparing for the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) where applicable.

· Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, and assignments to support classroom learning.

· Monitor student learning progress and provide constructive feedback to students and the Academic Team.

· Generate periodical learning progress reports to parents.

· Adapt teaching methods to support international students transitioning from overseas education systems.

· Conduct lessons either online or in-person depending on programme requirements.

· Participate in periodic academic meetings or training sessions organised by the centre.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

· Related qualification in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

· Prior teaching or tutoring experience in Singapore and/or IGCSE Primary or Secondary Mathematics curriculum is preferred.

· Familiarity with the MOE and/or IGCSE Mathematics syllabus and/or AEIS examination format will be advantageous.

· Strong ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.

· Good communication and classroom management skills.

· Professional, responsible, and committed to delivering quality teaching.

· Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking students, parents, and stakeholders from China.

· Experience teaching international students will be an advantage.

· Ex-MOE teachers or NIE-trained educators are encouraged to apply.

What We Offer

· Competitive freelance hourly rates based on qualifications and teaching experience.

· Flexible teaching schedule.

· Opportunity to work with a growing education organisation supporting international students in Singapore.

· Access to teaching resources and academic support from the Star Destiny Education curriculum team.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and trial lesson.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
