Job Summary

We are seeking passionate, certified Freelance Yoga Instructors to lead safe, engaging classes for all skill levels, fostering an inclusive and supportive studio environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, safe, and balanced yoga classes including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Flow, or specialized formats
  • Provide clear verbal alignment cues and breath awareness instructions to guide practitioners effectively
  • Apply hands-on adjustments with consent and offer modifications to accommodate beginners and advanced practitioners
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before class to greet participants, check equipment, and assist with setup
  • Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and community-driven studio atmosphere to enhance member experience
  • Adhere to studio safety standards and ensure the studio and props are neatly reset after each session
  • Adapt class sequences dynamically by reading the room and providing regressions or progressions for varying body mechanics or injuries
  • Demonstrate punctuality and manage class timing to start and end sessions on schedule
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal presence through warmth, empathy, clear communication, and customer-centric hospitality

Required competencies and certifications

  • Hold a minimum 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) certification from an accredited Yoga Alliance school or equivalent recognized body
  • Maintain valid CPR/AED certification prior to onboarding

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Possess 1–2 years of active teaching experience in boutique studios, gyms, or corporate settings; highly-rated recent graduates with strong demo skills are also considered
  • Specialize in Yin, Pre-Natal, Sound Healing, or Mobility/Therapy yoga styles
