Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible Fresh Crew to join our sushi kiosk team. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, sushi packing, customer service, cashiering, cleaning, and daily kiosk operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation

  • Prepare sushi, ingredients, sauces, and other food items according to company standards and recipes.
  • Ensure food is fresh, properly portioned, labelled, and presented.
  • Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
  • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
  • Maintain proper food storage and temperature controls.

2. Customer Service

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take orders and provide accurate information about menu items.
  • Recommend products and promote ongoing promotions when appropriate.
  • Handle customer enquiries and feedback courteously.

3. Cashiering & Sales

  • Operate the POS/cashier system accurately.
  • Process cashless and cash payments where applicable.
  • Ensure accurate handling and recording of daily sales.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and product display.

4. Kiosk Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kiosk, preparation area, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Replenish sushi and other products to maintain an attractive display.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of shortages or wastage.
  • Follow company SOPs and operational guidelines.

5. Food Safety & Hygiene

  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Comply with all applicable food safety and hygiene requirements.
  • Wear the required uniform, gloves, hairnet, and other protective items.
  • Report any food safety, equipment, or operational issues to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements

  • No prior sushi experience required; training will be provided.
  • Previous F&B, retail, cashier, or customer service experience is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, hardworking, and willing to learn.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with standing for extended periods.
