You will join us as a Full-Time Primary Math Teaching Specialist primarily based at our tuition centre in the Central (Novena) or East (Marine Parade), with the flexibility to support our other branches as required.

📚 Your Role & Key Responsibilities (The Teaching Specialist)

Your primary focus is to deliver exceptional student outcomes and contribute to our academic excellence.

  • Curriculum Delivery: Execute the Formative Minds’ curriculum with fidelity (approximately 10 to 12 classes lessons per week, 2 hours per class).
  • Data-Driven Feedback: Record students’ quiz results and utilise our proprietary data-analytics platform to monitor and analyse class and students' learning performance.
  • Student & Parent Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with students and parents, providing regular updates on performance and progress.
  • Curriculum Contribution: Provide support and ideas towards the improvement, planning, and development of our curriculum.
  • Administrative Excellence: Perform necessary administrative tasks, provide coverage for peers, and contribute actively in team meetings.
  • Work Schedule: This is a 5-day work week role, with a work schedule that requires teaching on at least one weekend day.

Selected teaching staff who achieve mastery in the classroom will be considered for the Management Associate Programme (MAP). This track is designed to groom high-potential individuals for leadership:

  • Holistic Development: You will take on additional management responsibilities and projects to gain exposure beyond teaching, preparing you for larger, business-facing roles.
  • Progressive Career: The MAP is your pathway to becoming a leader who designs policies and strategies aligned with on-ground teaching needs.

✅ Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Graduate (local university preferred: NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD).
  • Familiar with the local Singapore School Curriculum (Primary Level Math).
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience (at least 2 years preferred).
  • Passion for teaching and nurturing young minds!

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, comfortable engaging students and parents.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and utilise technology and data analytics in teaching.
