The posting

We’re seeking a passionate and committed Maths & Science teacher to lead lessons for Primary and Secondary students. The ideal candidate is confident teaching both subjects across different levels, able to explain concepts clearly, and skilled at helping students build strong foundations and exam confidence.

Only Singaporeans/PR.

Commitment: Full Time, able to commit for at least 2 years

Salary: From $4,300

Location: Woodlands and Yishun area

Working Days/Hours: Wed–Fri: 2.00pm–10.00pm Sat: 9.00am–5.30pm Sun: 9.00am–1.00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Secondary Mathematics and Science lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus
  • Mark and review students’ work, providing constructive and actionable feedback
  • Identify students’ learning gaps and provide targeted guidance to improve their understanding
  • Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ progress and areas for improvement
  • Contribute to curriculum development, worksheets and teaching resource creation
  • Maintain a positive, disciplined and supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

  1. Prior teaching or tutoring experience
  2. Familiarity with the MOE syllabus and N/O-Level examination formats
  3. Able to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to students of different abilities
  4. Passionate about teaching and mentoring students
  5. Responsible, committed and able to work independently
  6. Able to work evenings and weekends based on the stated class schedule
