LACA Junior is looking for a Full-Time Teacher / Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of our children’s art education programme while delivering engaging and meaningful art lessons.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced educator who enjoys working with children and is also comfortable taking responsibility for classroom operations, student development, parent communication, and the smooth running of the centre.

At LACA Junior, we believe art education should develop more than technical skills. We encourage children to observe, explore, think creatively, build confidence, and develop their own artistic voices.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Development

  • Conduct regular art classes for children across different age groups
  • Teach drawing, painting, mixed media, crafts, and other creative projects
  • Follow and deliver LACA Junior’s curriculum and teaching approach
  • Adapt lessons according to students’ ages, abilities, and learning needs
  • Encourage observation, creativity, curiosity, confidence, and self-expression
  • Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  • Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, materials, and classroom activities

Centre Operations

  • Support the daily operations and organisation of LACA Junior
  • Coordinate class schedules, teachers, classrooms, and teaching materials
  • Ensure classrooms, art materials, and facilities are well prepared and maintained
  • Assist with student registration, attendance, class arrangements, and administrative matters
  • Coordinate with freelance and part-time teachers when required
  • Support workshops, events, holiday programmes, and other LACA Junior activities
  • Ensure classes and programmes run smoothly and professionally

Parent & Student Relations

  • Communicate professionally and warmly with parents and guardians
  • Provide updates on students’ participation and artistic development
  • Address routine enquiries and assist with parent feedback
  • Build positive relationships with students and families
  • Support a welcoming and professional experience for every LACA Junior family

Team & Programme Development

  • Work closely with the LACA team to improve teaching programmes and operations
  • Contribute ideas for new lessons, workshops, holiday programmes, and creative activities
  • Assist in developing and refining teaching resources and curriculum materials
  • Support the training and onboarding of new teachers where required
  • Uphold LACA Junior’s standards, values, and teaching philosophy

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Fine Art, Art Education, Design, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in drawing, painting, or other visual art forms
  • Relevant teaching experience, preferably with children
  • Experience in classroom management and lesson planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, responsible, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Patient, warm, and engaging when working with children
  • Able to manage both teaching responsibilities and operational tasks
  • Passionate about art education and children’s creative development
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and hands-on environment

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
