Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, elicit and analyse business requirements within the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) / AML domain.
  • Collaborate with business and operational specialists to review, validate and document business requirements.
  • Analyse and document “to-be” business and operational processes, including impact assessments based on agreed requirements and functional scope.
  • Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business, technology and migration needs.
  • Identify and manage requirements-related risks, issues and scope creep throughout the analysis phase.
  • Produce detailed business requirements documentation in line with established banking standards.
  • Develop business functional release notes and contribute to deployment and implementation plans.
  • Assess the existing technology landscape and ensure requirements support seamless system integration.
  • Work with operational teams to design and establish new processes and procedures where required.
  • Partner with System Analysts and Solution Architects to ensure clear understanding and translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and ensure requirements are fully traceable through delivery.
  • Review and confirm system capabilities against the agreed Business Requirements Document (BRD).
  • Define project scope, assumptions and key considerations to support IT management approval and governance processes.
  • Manage requirements and change requests throughout the analysis and delivery lifecycle.
  • Review and sign off functional specifications prepared by System Analysts.
  • Review SIT test cases and provide clarification and support to testing teams.
  • Provide support during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably within Information Technology and banking environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience with strong understanding of banking processes and technology.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) and/or AML domains.
  • Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and management.
  • Good understanding of CLM / AML processes, systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, operations and technology teams.
  • Experience translating business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, impact assessment and process improvement.
  • Experience working with System Analysts, Solution Architects, developers and testing teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience with BRD, functional specifications, requirements traceability and SIT/UAT.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, requirements changes, risks and competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex requirements clearly.
