General Manager
The General Manager oversees the entity’s P&L, business performance, and daily operations, driving profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and effective project delivery. The role focuses on strengthening the engineering business while expanding AI-Smart Engineering Services, solution selling and lifecycle revenue.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the subsidiary’s overall financial and operational performance, including order intake, revenue, profitability, cashflow, budgeting, governance, and compliance.
- Drive sales growth, key account development,strategic bids, pricing, contract negotiations, and cross-selling opportunitiesacross targeted industry sectors.
- Lead the commercialisation of smart engineeringsolutions and expand recurring revenue through O&M contracts, serviceagreements, retrofits, and lifecycle services.
- Ensure safe, timely, and profitable project andservice delivery while strengthening project governance, cost control, billing,collections, and risk management.
- Coordinate with Group functions and projectteams to align resources, factory capacity, technical requirements, and projectexecution.
- Build high-performing teams, develop leadershipand succession capabilities, retain critical expertise, and foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in engineering services, M&E, HVAC/building systems, facilities management, industrial solutions, automation, data-center services, or related sectors.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior business leadership role, with proven P&L ownership at business-unit, country, subsidiary, or general-management level.
- Strong customer network in Singapore, with demonstrated expertise in solution selling, project delivery, and recurring service revenue.
- Proven track record in improving profitability, cash flow, project execution, and organizational performance while leading business transformation.
- Practical knowledge of digitalization, IoT, BMS/EMS, AI-enabled engineering, or smart infrastructure.
