The posting

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute strategies in support of the business priorities and public policy agenda.

· Key point of contact with government officials, industry stakeholders, trade associations, in Singapore and proactively identifies opportunities to deepen relationships with key government stakeholders across the APAC region.

· Provide clear advice on regulatory developments and policy issues related to business interests in Singapore and APAC region

· Experience in collaborating with government officials, responding to regulatory enquiries, writing briefings, preparing and delivering presentations to regulators, government officials and industry associations.

· Build and manage relationships with relevant media stakeholders in Singapore, and support Global Head in managing media relationships across global priority markets

· Represent the company in external meetings with the media and private/public sector communication partners.

Qualifications and Experience

· Degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations or related fields.

· At least 5 years of working experience in a government affairs program/ corporate communications or public relations (other relevant disciplines can be considered).

· Strong track record in developing and implementing external communication strategies/campaigns across multiple geographies.

· Strong research, analysis, writing and presentation skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Consultative approach, outcome focused and data driven.

· Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
