The posting

About the Role

Our client is a growing technology company with a multi-entity international structure. This newly created Singapore-based role reports to the Finance Manager and will take ownership of accounting and month-end close for assigned entities, as well as group consolidation, financial reporting and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end closing for assigned entities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare group consolidation and financial reports, including intercompany eliminations, FX translation and consolidation adjustments
  • Coordinate entity reporting, investigate variances and ensure timely group closing
  • Prepare entity/group financial statements, statutory schedules and supporting analysis
  • Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor queries and coordinate audit requests
  • Support tax compliance by preparing required financial information and schedules
  • Identify opportunities for finance process improvement, automation and reporting enhancements
  • Work closely with Finance, overseas entities and external advisers across jurisdictions

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 5+ years' relevant experience
  • CPA/CA, ACCA or equivalent preferred
  • Hands-on experience in month-end close, group consolidation and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, intercompany accounting and FX translation
  • Experience with audit schedules and auditor coordination
  • Strong Excel and accounting systems skills
  • Able to work independently, investigate discrepancies and meet tight deadlines
  • Technology or international group experience is a plus
