GYMNASTICS COACH

BazGym Gymnastics School | Singapore Full-Time

Build confidence. Develop movement. Make a difference.

BazGym has been teaching gymnastics in Singapore for over 23 years and currently works with around 3,000 students every week across our programmes.

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible Gymnastics Coaches to join our team.

Our coaches work mainly with children from preschool to school-going age, helping them develop gymnastics skills, strength, coordination, confidence and a positive attitude towards movement.

You do not have to be a competitive gymnast to apply. What matters is that you enjoy teaching, are willing to learn, and genuinely care about helping students improve.

What You Will Do

You will conduct recreational gymnastics classes according to BazGym's programme and coaching standards, while creating lessons that are safe, engaging and appropriate for each student's level.

Coaches are expected to:

  • Teach gymnastics skills, strength, coordination, flexibility and movement fundamentals
  • Provide clear demonstrations, instructions and corrections
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
  • Encourage students and help them develop confidence
  • Manage classes effectively and keep students engaged
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback when required
  • Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues
  • Assist with equipment setup, class preparation and general gym operations
  • Participate in staff training, coaching workshops and certification programmes
  • Support BazGym events such as carnivals, showcases, performances and holiday programmes
  • Maintain good attendance, punctuality and professional standards

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome applicants with backgrounds in gymnastics, sports, early-childhood education, fitness, dance, or physical education.

Gymnastics coaching experience is an advantage, but training can be provided for suitable candidates.

You should be:

Patient and encouraging — students learn at different speeds.

Energetic and comfortable with children — most of our students are between approximately 3 and 12 years old.

Responsible and safety-conscious — good coaching starts with creating a safe environment.

Open to learning — coaches at BazGym are expected to continue upgrading their skills through training, certifications and mentorship.

A good team player — you will work closely with other coaches, supervisors, Head Coaches and our Head of Programmes.

More Than Just Teaching Classes

At BazGym, coaching is a profession.

We want coaches who are interested in developing over the long term. As your experience and capabilities grow, there are opportunities to progress into roles such as:

Senior Coach → Supervisor → Head Coach → Programme or Management Roles

Coaches may also have opportunities to become involved in specialised programmes, events, overseas exchanges and new projects as the company expands.

Working Hours

This is a full-time coaching position.

As most students attend after school and on weekends, applicants must be comfortable working evenings and weekends as part of the regular schedule.
