JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure the effective functioning of the Reliability Management (RMA) team and support the achievement of its activities and objectives.

The RMA team is a cross-functional team with an international scope, covering all services, products and platforms.

Its mission is to ensure the quality, stability and resilience of production services by preventing incidents, limiting their impact, and coordinating the resolution of serious or higher-criticality incidents.

The RMA team's action is based on three complementary pillars:

1. “Prevention & Resilience” pillar

Objective: Reduce the risk of incidents impacting Amundi’s Business activity or its external clients and strengthen overall resilience.

Main activities:

  • Change management: monitoring, data quality controls, compliance with procedures and rules, as well as the validation of production operations for infrastructure changes and application releases.
  • Organization and management of IPSI (resilience tests / DRP) and ILSI (restoration tests) test exercises.
  • Coordination of the remediation of obsolescence issues.
  • Coordination of preventive task forces.

2. “Incident Management” pillar

Objective: Restore IT service as quickly as possible to an acceptable level when a serious or higher-criticality incident occurs, either through a workaround or a corrective action.

Main activities:

  • Ensure rapid, structured and effective management of serious or higher-criticality incidents.
  • Coordinate crisis conference calls and related communications for incidents that are at least critical, those likely to become critical in the very short term, and those with a global impact.
  • Monitoring, tracking, data quality controls, compliance with procedures and rules, as well as incident qualification and prioritization.

3. "Reliability" pillar

Objective: Eliminate root causes, reduce the impact and recurrence of incidents that have affected the Amundi Business or its external clients, and sustainably improve the quality of service.

Main activities:

  • Problem identification, with analysis of trends, recurrences and weak signals.
  • Coordination of reliability task forces.
  • Organization of post-mortem meetings with detailed reports communicated: user impact, criticality level, root cause, implemented solution and reliability plans.
  • Monitor the implementation of the actions defined in the reliability plans.

Cross-functional activities across the three pillars

In addition to these activities, the RMA team provides:

  • the overall supervision of quality, service stability and continuous improvement, for the satisfaction of the Amundi Business and its external clients;
  • the animation of committees and reviews, weekly and monthly;
  • the production of analyses, reports, and KPIs;
  • the updating, compliance, and application of procedures;
  • the response to audits and the implementation of their recommendations within allotted timeframes.

On-call duties and interventions outside working hours:

  • In addition to the planned weekday activity from Monday to Friday, weekend or evening coordination activities may also be defined as required.
  • In the event of a major emergency, 24/7 intervention may be required. This applies where no workaround is available outside working hours, or where the incident has major criticality. The call-out process and contact details are defined in the dedicated global on-call procedure.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Specialization in Capital Markets/Finance is a plus.
  • A minimum of 15 years' relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a similar role within an asset manager, investment bank or custodian.

This role requires the following skills and qualities:

  • Strong focus on quality, business satisfaction and external client satisfaction.
  • Ability to remain effective under pressure, and strong crisis-management capabilities.
  • Natural leadership and decision-making ability in an uncertain environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Rigorous and methodical.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Pragmatic and operationally realistic mindset.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and issues.
  • Open feedback culture.
  • Continuous improvement orientation.
  • Ability to coach and train.
  • Functional knowledge of asset management, combined with technical IT knowledge.

International scope, with regular interaction with users and local support teams across Amundi subsidiaries.

IT Tools:

  • ITSM tools: JIRA
  • MS Office suite

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
