Our diverse programmes reach out to children who need care and protection, families in material need, ailing aged requiring quality nursing care and other needy segments in our society.

Our spiritual ministry also reaches out to the people in the community to provide counsel to those in need. We are there to help guide those in need towards finding their identity and purpose in life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support staff in caring for the residents under their charge, in accordance with the training received under the Industry Skills Certificate, Institute of Technical Education, or other similar approved programmes.
  • Support staff in providing daily care and assistance to residents.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the Residents' Living Area (RLA) and ensuring that infection control practices are strictly adhered to.
  • Assist Staff Nurse/Enrolled Nurse/Nurse Aide/Health Care Assistant inpersonal hygiene of residents
  • Assist nurses in serving meals and feeding of residents, preparing, andserving of beverages. Keep record of residents' food intake and output as ordered.
  • Send residents for therapy, activities and other medical appointments.
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities.
  • Assist in recreational and social programs.
  • Take and record temperature, pulse and respiration.
  • Ensure safety of residents.
  • Report and record any changes in behavior or general conditions to staff incharge.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of beds, bedside cabinet, over-bed tables andchairs.
  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of RLA, pantry,treatment room, dirty utility room, washing of commodes and shower chair.
  • Any other duties consistent with total care of residents and as directed by the incharge of the RLA/Home.

Certificate in Healthcare Support / Nursing care

Working Hours

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be 44 hours and 6-day work week.

Working hours according to Nursing roster.
