JOBSUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate Hip Hop / Street Dance artist-educator to deliver high-energy, structured Hip Hop, Kpop and Street Dance classes to students of all ages, and to choreograph and coach them for performances, showcases, examinations and competitions. Dance is at the heart of this role — and it offers more than the studio. As part of the Operations track, you will also gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day running of a Crestar Learning Centre, building a ground-up understanding of what it takes to operate a dance school. This is an ideal full-time role for a dancer who wants to grow beyond teaching into choreography, curriculum, events and centre leadership.

JOB ROLE

1. Teaching & Programme Delivery

  • Plan and deliver structured Hip Hop / Street Dance / Kpop classes for students of all ages, aligned with Crestar's curriculum and teaching standards
  • Conduct classes in accordance with HQ guidelines and approved lesson plans
  • Prepare and coach students for performances, showcases, examinations and competitions
  • Engage parents through regular communication, progress updates and parent-teacher meetings
  • Maintain accurate student records and take attendance for assigned classes

2. Choreography, Events & Performances

  • Choreograph and prepare students for concerts, recitals, showcases and competitions, including music selection, rehearsal coordination and costume/prop planning
  • Support or lead events end-to-end, from concept and rehearsals through to show day
  • Participate in or lead special projects such as holiday camps and exchange programmes

3. Curriculum & Teacher Development

  • Contribute to curriculum enhancement and the development of training manuals
  • Provide feedback from classes and training assignments to support HQ curriculum R&D
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding and capability-building of local and overseas instructors
  • Support the professional development of junior teachers through demonstrations and mentorship

4. Centre Operations & Customer Service

  • Provide front-line customer service, handling enquiries, feedback and requests from students, parents and prospects
  • Assist with registration, enrolment, class scheduling and related administrative duties
  • Handle the sale of stocks and materials, monitor stock levels, and assist in preparing enrolment and operations reports
  • Conduct daily checks to keep the studio clean, safe, organised and well-maintained
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts, including social media content, community events and open houses
  • Attend regular meetings and training organised by HQ, and handle other ad hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience teaching Hip Hop / Street Dance to children, teens and/or adults, with a strong background in training and performance
  • Track record in recognised competitions is an advantage; Diploma in Dance preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of Hip Hop techniques, choreography and performance practices, with the ability to choreograph for various age groups and skill levels
  • Passionate, energetic and engaging teaching style, with excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude, able to work across teaching, operations and management; prior customer service or front desk experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for presentations, reporting and data tracking
  • Responsible, proactive and committed to professional growth
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and school holiday programmes as required by the centre schedule

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
