Role Overview
We are seeking an HR Executive to support the full spectrum of human resources activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, training and HR operations.
The successful candidate should be organised, approachable and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be willing to travel to the workplace in Loyang, in the eastern part of Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities, including job advertisements, candidate screening, interview coordination and offer preparation.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
- Support monthly payroll preparation, attendance records, overtime claims and employee benefits administration.
- Manage leave applications and ensure HR records are updated accurately.
- Assist with work pass applications, renewals and cancellations where required.
- Respond to employee enquiries concerning HR policies, benefits and employment matters.
- Support employee-engagement, welfare and workplace-culture initiatives.
- Assist with performance appraisals, salary reviews and confirmation exercises.
- Coordinate staff training, maintain training records and monitor development requirements.
- Support disciplinary, grievance and employee-relations matters.
- Prepare HR reports and track relevant workforce information.
- Ensure HR practices comply with Singapore employment legislation and internal policies.
- Participate in HR projects and process-improvement initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of HR generalist experience.
- Familiarity with Singapore employment legislation and standard HR practices.
- Experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations and HR administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be willing and able to travel to Loyang in eastern Singapore.
Working Arrangements
- Work location: Loyang, Singapore.
- Candidates may select either of the following working schedules: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
