Job Summary
The HR Specialist provides effective and timely HR administrative support, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and general HR administration. The role maintains accurate employee and recruitment records, coordinates HR processes, and delivers professional service to candidates, employees, managers, and the HR team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support throughout the recruitment process to ensure smooth operations
- Coordinate interviews and assessments by liaising with candidates, hiring managers, and interview panel members to provide an efficient and professional candidate experience
- Monitor recruitment progress and proactively follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain outstanding information or documentation
- Coordinate and complete routine pre-employment checks and prepare offer letters, appointment documents, and other recruitment correspondence accurately and timely
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records and recruitment documentation while ensuring secure and confidential handling of information
- Provide regular, timely updates to hiring managers and HR colleagues on recruitment status and outstanding actions
- Support new hire onboarding processes to facilitate smooth integration of employees
- Manage employee records and general HR administration tasks to maintain data integrity and compliance
- Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects and process improvement initiatives aligned with the role’s scope
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
