JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

  • To develop and be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and HSE Plan at work sites.
  • Promote safety and health at the workplace eg. Safety Campaign, Safety Promotion, etc.
  • Conduct risk assessments, lifting studies reviews, and method statement approvals.
  • Participate in client/main con site safety meeting, safety walkabout, and weekly coordination meetings and troubleshoot site HSE issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safe work procedures, lifting studies reviews, and method statement approvals.
  • Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and training programs to enhance worker safety awareness.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and injuries, and prepare detailed reports, recommending corrective and preventive actions to Management/Client.
  • Enforce compliance with WSH legislations, manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and ensure adherence to ISO 45001 and BizSafe standards.
  • Maintain overall site safety compliance and support project safety objectives.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, lifting supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Lead site safety inspections, audits, follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance and corrective action tracking.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as and when assigned by Project Manager/Group HSE.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences.
  • Candidate should be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and result oriented.
  • Able to work well under pressurein a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Effective communication skills including verbal presentation and technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, relevant safety and health legislations, Singapore Standards, Codes of Practices, and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of crane operations would be an added advantage.
