Job Description

Our client, an established services company in the marine/offshore and industrial services sector, is looking for an ICT Service Desk Analyst to join their ICT team, supporting business systems and driving digitisation across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st line support for the user base, managing and prioritising support requests from local and remote users
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues
  • Support Inventory, Engineering tools, and other business software
  • Escalate issues requiring specialist or management attention
  • Provide procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Liaise with staff to help set up systems and resolve issues
  • Support continuous maintenance and monitoring of systems
  • Assist with systems migration to cloud platform
  • Support ICT projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for ICT project execution
  • Understand and document business requirements
  • Build and maintain workflows and process automation
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information

Requirements

  • Engineering or ICT Degree/Diploma
  • Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
  • Understanding of different database technologies
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of low-code/process automation platforms (e.g. Power Platform, Nintex) is a plus
