Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology infrastructure initiatives across the bank's regional environment. The successful candidate will be accountable for end-to-end project execution, covering data centre, network, cloud, workplace technology, infrastructure transformation and regulatory-driven programs. This role requires strong stakeholder management, vendor governance, financial oversight and the ability to deliver projects within strict banking regulatory and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across network, server, storage, cloud, workplace technology and data centre domains.
- Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans and project governance frameworks.
- Establish and maintain project reporting for senior management and steering committees.
- Drive project execution while ensuring compliance with bank policies, technology standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and escalation processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, cybersecurity, architecture, operations and vendors.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees and executive updates.
- Ensure alignment between regional and local stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Vendor & Financial Management
- Manage external suppliers, system integrators and infrastructure vendors.
- Oversee RFP/RFQ activities, contract negotiations and vendor performance management.
- Monitor project financials, forecasts, purchase orders and budget utilization.
- Ensure vendors meet agreed deliverables, SLAs and quality expectations.
Infrastructure Transformation
- Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives covering: Network transformation and connectivity Data centre migration and optimization Cloud adoption and hybrid infrastructure Technology refresh programs Office relocation and fit-out projects Infrastructure integration and separation activities
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure projects comply with MAS regulations, cybersecurity standards and internal audit requirements.
- Maintain project controls for change management, risk mitigation and operational readiness.
- Support technology resiliency, business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of IT infrastructure project management experience.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure programs in banking, financial services or highly regulated environments.
- Experience managing regional projects across multiple countries and stakeholders.
- Strong experience with vendor management, procurement and contract governance.
- Demonstrated success managing project budgets, forecasts and executive reporting.
Technical Knowledge
- Infrastructure technologies including: Network (LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching) Data Centre Technologies Server & Virtualization Platforms Storage & Backup Solutions Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure and Hybrid Cloud) Workplace Technology and End User Services
Certifications
- PMP certification.
- ITIL certification advantageous.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure or Oracle Cloud) preferred.
