Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, hands-on, and innovative Software Innovation Engineer (Gaming) with a strong background in game development, casino gaming, iGaming, and/or mobile gaming, and hands-on experience in Unity and C#, to transform product ideas, market opportunities, and emerging technologies into engaging gaming products and prototypes, working closely with cross-functional teams to explore concepts, evaluate technical feasibility, rapidly prototype, and develop promising ideas into production-ready gaming solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and prototype innovative 2D and 3D casino gaming experiences using Unity and C#.
  • Create and develop new casino game concepts, gameplay features, interactive experiences, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Translate product ideas, market opportunities, and user requirements into engaging and functional prototypes.
  • Develop clean, reusable, efficient, and reliable code suitable for both prototyping and production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, art, and other cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative gaming concepts.
  • Integrate graphics, animations, textures, audio, visual effects, and other creative assets into interactive gaming experiences.
  • Assess the technical feasibility, performance, scalability, and implementation approaches of new gaming concepts.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Review existing software architecture, development practices, and technology platforms to identify opportunities for improved performance, scalability, reusability, and development efficiency.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and development techniques to enhance and differentiate casino gaming experiences.
  • Refine and iterate prototypes based on product feedback, user experience considerations, technical findings, and business requirements.
  • Contribute to the successful transition of validated concepts from prototype through to production.
  • Manage development priorities and deliver prototypes and assigned tasks within agreed project timelines.

Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Game Development, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in casino gaming, game development, iGaming, mobile gaming, or real-time interactive applications.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C#, with solid object-oriented programming and software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Unity 2D/3D development.
  • Good understanding of game development principles, including game states, scripting, gameplay mechanics, animation systems, physics, UI, and asset management.
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D graphics, textures, visual effects, animation, and interactive content development.
  • Ability to rapidly turn ideas, concepts, and requirements into functional prototypes and interactive experiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with evolving or ambiguous requirements.
  • Experience with debugging, profiling, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems in a collaborative development environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects or prototypes within agreed timelines.
  • Passion for gaming and a strong interest in casino gaming technology and interactive product development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing casino systems, gaming platforms, electronic gaming machines (EGMs), or related gaming solutions.
  • Experience in game prototyping, R&D, innovation initiatives, or new product development.
  • Proven experience taking a gaming concept from initial idea through prototyping and into production.
  • Strong understanding of user experience and interactive product design principles.
  • Demonstrated interest in emerging gaming technologies, tools, and development methodologies.
