The posting

We are looking for a commercially driven and detailed-oriented Inside Sales Executive to support and grow our Singapore and regional customer base. Fresh graduates with an Engineering or Technical background are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities.

Sales, Quotation and Customer Engagement

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries through email, telephone, Whatsapp and other channels
  • Understand customer requirements and prepare accurate quotations for industrial instrumentation products and related services
  • Follow up actively on quotations, identify opportunities and convert enquiries into confirm orders
  • Recommend relevant and complementary products, including transmitters, accessories, spare part and calibration services
  • Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to develop new business opportunities, particularly in the F&B, pharmaceutical, marine and industrial sectors
  • Build strong relationships with purchasing teams, engineers, maintenance teams and other customer contacts

Order Co-ordination and After-sales Support

  • Process customer purchase orders and prepare sales orders accurately
  • Co-ordinate with internal operations, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfilment and delivery.
  • Liaise with overseas principals and suppliers on product availability, lead times, technical documentation and certificates of origin
  • Support customers with delivery updates, warranty matters and initial technical enquiries, escalating complex issues were necessary
  • Assist with tenders, exhibitions, product promotions and distributor co-ordination where required.

Sales Administration and Reporting

  • 1) Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, opportunities and activity updates in the CRM system
  • Track sales pipeline, quotation status and reasons for won or lost opportunities
  • Prepare monthly sales report, forecast and activity updates for management
  • Maintain organised documentation and ensure pricing, product details and customer information are kept up to date

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering, Business, Sales or a related discipline
  • Fresh graduates of relevant disciplines are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in B2B, industrial, technical or inside sales will have an added advantage
  • Interest in industrial products such as pressure, temperature, flow, process control or calibration instruments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and following up proactively on sales opportunities
  • Good attention to detail, especially when preparing quotations and processing orders
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, operations and overseas suppliers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office. Experience with CRM, ERP, SAP or Oracle systems is an advantage
  • Positive, resilient and customer-focused attitude, with a willingness to learn technical products.
