Prestige Global Designs is an international award-winning interior design firm creating luxurious interiors for boutique hotels, residences, hospitality, and offices. The firm customizes designs for maximum spatial functionality and prestigious living.

Job Summary

We seek a detail-oriented Interior Drafter to produce detailed drawings and collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to realize innovative, functional, and aesthetic interior spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and sections for residential and commercial interiors using CAD software (AutoCAD & SketchUp) to support design execution
  • Maintain accurate project documentation ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with interior designers to interpret design concepts and translate project requirements into technical drawings
  • Prepare and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and team members to meet project goals
  • Conduct site visits to measure, assess conditions, and document existing spaces for accurate drafting
  • Assist in creating presentation materials including 3D renderings and mood boards to communicate design intent
  • Incorporate materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures into design plans to enhance functionality and aesthetics
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members to align on project objectives and progress
  • Stay informed on the latest interior design trends and drafting technologies to continuously improve deliverables
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD & SketchUp) and other design-related software
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
  • Proven experience as an interior drafter or in a similar role
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant design and drafting work

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
