Job Summary

You will lead interior design renovation projects by understanding client requirements and budgets, delivering professional design recommendations, and managing projects independently from concept to completion while maintaining client relationships and improving design standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client requirements, budgets, and design preferences to deliver tailored professional design recommendations that meet project goals
  • Manage interior design renovation projects independently from concept development through to successful completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Communicate effectively with clients to translate their needs into clear, practical design solutions that align with their vision and constraints
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers while proactively generating new leads to expand the client base
  • Research and apply current market trends, new materials, and supplier resources to enhance design quality and cost efficiency in renovation projects
  • Utilize relevant interior design software and technical drawing tools to create accurate and detailed design plans and documentation
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of Singapore’s interior renovation processes, materials, suppliers, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and project success
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities to execute projects efficiently and resolve challenges promptly

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proficiency in relevant interior design software and technical drawing tools
  • At least 6 years of experience managing interior design renovation projects independently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong communication and client management skills to effectively translate client needs into design solutions
  • Knowledge of Singapore interior renovation processes, commonly used materials, suppliers, and relevant requirements
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, highly organized with strong execution and problem-solving skills
