At Space Change, we believe good interior design begins with understanding how people live and work. We create considered spaces with practical layouts, thoughtful material choices and clear communication throughout the renovation journey.

We’re looking for an Interior Designer with at least one year of relevant experience to join our design team. This is a design focused role where you can develop ideas, prepare drawings and work closely with colleagues who handle client relationships and project delivery.

Interior Designer:

Space Change is a growing interior design and renovation studio creating homes across Singapore, from HDB flats and condominiums to landed homes. We're looking for passionate Interior Designers who want the freedom to design, the support to sell, and an income that matches their talent.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll own your projects from first consultation to final handover:

  • Meet homeowners to understand their lifestyle, needs, style preferences and budget
  • Create design concepts, space plans, mood boards and material and finish selections
  • Produce 2D layouts and 3D visualizations to bring ideas to life for clients
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals and design solutions
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship and timelines
  • Resolve issues proactively and keep projects running smoothly
  • Build lasting relationships with homeowners throughout their renovation journey
  • Work towards your individual sales and project targets

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Design skills

  • Minimum 3 years of residential interior design experience in Singapore
  • Strong portfolio showing space planning, concept development and finished projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; rendering skills (e.g. Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion) are a strong plus
  • Good eye for layout, lighting, colour, materials and carpentry detailing
  • Solid knowledge of renovation processes, materials, costing and HDB/BCA renovation guidelines

Project & client skills

  • Proven ability to manage HDB and condo projects independently; landed experience is a bonus
  • Confident in client consultation, presentation, negotiation and closing
  • Able to juggle multiple clients and projects
  • Self-motivated and responsible, comfortable with hybrid working
