about the job
- Inventory Control: Manage spare parts inventory to maintain ideal stock levels. Track stock movements and update reorder points based on historical data and usage patterns.
- Demand Forecasting: Forecast spare parts demand by reviewing equipment maintenance schedules and past consumption. Partner with service engineers to align inventory plans with upcoming maintenance needs.
- Parts Transition: Coordinate the rollover from discontinued parts to new replacements.
- Supplier & Order Management: Work closely with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery. Monitor purchase orders, expedite shipments as needed, and resolve back-order issues with the broader supply chain team.
- Reporting: Use inventory management systems to monitor order history and stock status. Create reports covering demand forecasts and supplier performance.
- Process Improvement: Keep accurate procurement records and continuously improve inventory control processes to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
skills and experience required
- Min. NITEC or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Min. 2 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP S/4HANA.
