About the Role

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure System Engineer to support and maintain our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, operating systems and security systems.

You will work closely with the team to ensure our systems are stable, secure and operating effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure and maintain system software and IT infrastructure.
  • Perform routine server administration, including backups, housekeeping, user account management and system checks.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues when required.
  • Perform system updates, security patches and maintenance activities.
  • Support Windows and Linux servers and network infrastructure.
  • Assist with the management of network devices such as switches, routers and firewalls.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure and network standards and procedures.
  • Support IT security requirements for PCs, servers, networks and other infrastructure.
  • Assist with system upgrades, software changes and infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams on system maintenance and technical issues.
  • Maintain records of IT infrastructure, contracts and maintenance activities.
  • Provide standby or after-hours support for planned maintenance, system upgrades and security updates.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates with a relevant degree are welcome to apply.
  • Diploma holders with 2–3 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience are also welcome.
  • Good understanding of system administration, networking and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of network switches, routers and firewalls is an advantage.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud is an advantage.
  • Experience with VMware, Veeam Backup, SAN storage or Fortigate is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts such as VLAN, BGP, OSPF
