Position Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeingthe Chamber's technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and IT service delivery. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of business applications, networks, and end-user computing environments while driving continuous improvement through automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.

The IT Manager will lead technology initiatives that support organizational goals, improve operational efficiency, strengthen cybersecurity, and enhance the user experience. The role also manages IT vendors, budgets, system integrations, disaster recovery planning, and digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance

· Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

· Oversee network security, connectivity, access controls, and endpoint protection.

· Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.

· Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and industry requirements.

· Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability reviews.

· Lead security awareness initiatives and promote cybersecurity best practices

· Maintain and improve business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response plans.

2. Business Applications & Enterprise Systems

· Manage and administer business applications and enterprise platforms.

· Oversee data backup, recovery, and system availability to ensure business resilience.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify system enhancement opportunities and technology requirements.

· Lead software implementations, upgrades, integrations, and change management initiatives.

· Manage the application lifecycle, including licensing, renewals, support agreements, and vendor relationships.

· Ensure applications are optimized, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

· Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and user productivity.

3. IT Asset & Vendor Management

· Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and deprovisioning.

· Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, and access rights across business systems.

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-user devices and IT equipment.

· Manage the lifecycle of laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and related hardware.

· Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and license records.

· Oversee IT infrastructure and technology equipment, including point-of-sale (POS)systems where applicable.

· Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and support partners to resolve technical issues and maintain service quality.

· Manage IT procurement activities and technology-related contracts.

4. IT Strategy, Automation & Digital Transformation

· Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

· Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

· Evaluate and implement AI-powered solutions to enhance productivity, reporting, analytics, and service delivery.

· Drive technology innovation initiatives that support digital transformation goals.

· Support, maintain, and optimize existing automation scripts, integrations, and scheduled jobs.

· Troubleshoot and resolve script failures, automation issues, and system integration challenges.

· Establish technology roadmaps and recommend future-state improvements to infrastructure and applications.

5. Website Administration & Vendor Coordination

· Provide first-level administration and support for the organization's website.

· Perform website maintenance activities, including updates, plugin management, and security reviews.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot website-related issues.

· Coordinate with external web developers and hosting providers to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.

· Ensure website availability, security, and optimal user experience.

Qualifications & Experience Required

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience, including infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, and vendor management.

· Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.

· WordPress administration experience, including site maintenance, updates, plugin management, performance optimization, and security.

· Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, access management, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

· Experience managing IT vendors, procurement, software licensing, and service contracts.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred:

· PowerShell scripting and automation experience are preferred.

· Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).

· Experience implementing AI and automation solutions within business operations.

· Familiarity with cloud services, system integrations, APIs, and workflow automation platforms.
