As a IT Sales Executive/Business Development Executive, your focus is on selling technology solutions, services, or products, such as software, hardware, cloud services, cyber services and IT consulting to customers.

This role involves understanding client needs, positioning relevant technology solutions, and driving revenue growth for the company.

Below is the job scope:

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular personal meetings, phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

Market Expansion & Business Growth:

  • Serve as a bridge between the company and both existing and potential markets, identifying new business opportunities and strategies for growth.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Develop strategies to expand the company’s market reach and establish new client relationships.

Sales & Negotiation Support:

  • Gather and analyze customer and market data to assist management in negotiations regarding pricing, delivery terms, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Work closely with sales teams to optimize pricing strategies and ensure alignment with customer expectations and company objectives.

Product & Promotional Strategy:

  • Assist management in identifying opportunities for new product development and enhancements based on customer feedback and market demand.
  • Participate in discussions on special promotions, discounts, and offers to drive sales and customer engagement.

Performance & Target Achievement:

  • Continuously assess personal sales performance, set ambitious goals, and implement strategies to exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and improve overall sales effectiveness.

Sales Reporting & Market Insights:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer orders, and follow-ups.
  • Provide regular reports to the sales department, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Offer valuable feedback on evolving market trends and customer buying behaviors to help the company refine its sales and marketing strategies.
