Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise-grade backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Build and integrate scalable REST and SOAP-based services for enterprise applications and system integrations.
- Implement asynchronous and event-driven application components using messaging technologies such as MQTT, Kafka, and ActiveMQ.
- Develop cloud-enabled backend solutions using AWS services, including serverless application components.
- Design and maintain applications deployed in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop data-access and persistence components using Java-based ORM technologies across relational and NoSQL database environments.
- Build solutions requiring integration with legacy enterprise platforms, including J2EE-based application environments and enterprise application servers.
- Implement secure application and API access using Spring Security, JWT, and LDAP-based authentication mechanisms.
- Develop automated build, testing, and deployment workflows using Jenkins and CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate on technical design, system integration, code reviews, performance improvements, troubleshooting, and Agile delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java development, with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience developing microservices and enterprise backend applications using Java.
- Hands-on experience designing and integrating REST and SOAP web services.
- Practical experience with event-driven or messaging-based systems, particularly MQTT, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.
- Experience with J2EE technologies, including concepts such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB, or equivalent enterprise Java technologies.
- Experience working with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases, together with relational database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, or MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and runtime environments.
- Experience with AWS services, preferably including AWS Lambda, S3, or EC2.
- Experience implementing application security using Spring Security, JWT, and/or LDAP.
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD automation.
- Experience in enterprise application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, or Tomcat.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
