About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Technical Consultant to join our Data Management practice. You will work alongside senior consultants to design, configure, and support Master Data Management (MDM) and data integration solutions on Reltio and Informatica for enterprise clients.
This is a hands-on role with strong mentoring and a clear path to consultant and lead roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in configuring Reltio Connected Data Platform, including entity types, attributes, relationships, match rules, survivorship rules, and reference data.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT mappings and workflows using Informatica (PowerCenter, IDMC/Cloud Data Integration, or Informatica MDM).
Support data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and quality checks to improve data accuracy.
Load and validate data from source systems (CRM, ERP, flat files, databases) into the MDM hub.
Work with Reltio APIs and integration tools to connect upstream and downstream applications.
Write and run SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting. Create and execute unit test cases; support SIT and UAT, and fix defects promptly.
Prepare technical documentation, such as mapping specifications, configuration guides, and runbooks.
Participate in client meetings, requirement workshops, and daily stand-ups, and escalate risks early.
Contribute to production support and issue resolution as part of the delivery team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc.).
Foundational knowledge or hands-on exposure to Reltio (configuration, match and merge, data loading) and Informatica (mappings, transformations, workflows).
Solid understanding of Master Data Management concepts: golden record, match and merge, survivorship, data stewardship, and hierarchies.
Good SQL skills (joins, subqueries, aggregations) and an understanding of relational databases.
Understanding of data warehousing and ETL fundamentals.
Basic knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Certifications or training in Reltio or Informatica (e.g., Informatica IDMC, Reltio Foundations).
Exposure to a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Basic scripting in Python, Shell, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with data governance, data quality tools, or Agile/Scrum.
Internship or academic project experience in MDM or data integration.
