We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
This role is suitable for recent graduates with an MBA or candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience who possess strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, project stakeholders and client leadership teams to support successful project delivery.
- Facilitate and coordinate daily stand-up meetings, weekly project status meetings and other project discussions.
- Document meeting minutes, decisions, action items and key project updates.
- Track action items and follow up with respective team members to ensure timely task completion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and SDLC-related project artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the documentation and tracking of change requests, change management activities and project normalization activities.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables and dependencies.
- Track team members' task allocation, workload and resource utilisation.
- Proactively identify and flag potential project delays, risks, dependencies or resource constraints to the Senior Manager / Project Lead.
- Assist with preparation of project status reports, trackers, dashboards and management updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project activities remain aligned with agreed timelines and requirements.
- Support overall project governance and ensure required documentation and processes are followed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Fresh graduates with relevant academic/project exposure are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with up to 3 years of project coordination, project management, PMO or related experience will be considered.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to follow up on multiple tasks.
- Basic understanding of SDLC, project lifecycle, change management and project documentation is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Self-motivated, proactive and a strong team player.
- Ability to work in a structured environment and escalate project risks or delays appropriately.
