About the Company

Our client is a reputable food company with a strong presence in Singapore's food service industry. They are looking for a motivated and driven Sales Executive (Junior) to support business growth and expand their customer base across bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and food service operators.

  • Working Location: Kallang, Singapore
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 6:00PM
  • Hybrid working arrangement (1-2 days WFH per week upon confirmation)

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Executive (Junior) will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding the company's customer base within the bakery, café, restaurant, and food service sectors. This is a hunter-focused role that requires proactive prospecting, cold calling, customer visits, and relationship building to acquire new accounts and drive sales growth.

Working closely with distributors and internal stakeholders, you will promote the company's product offerings through product presentations, sampling activities, and solution-based proposals. You will also participate in joint sales visits, support exhibitions and promotional events, gather market intelligence, and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify growth opportunities.

This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy meeting people, building connections, and being on the ground. Candidates should be resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a challenging sales environment where persistence and initiative are essential for success. No prior food industry experience is required, as training will be provided to candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new customers within the bakery, café, restaurant, and food service sectors
  • Conduct cold calls, customer visits, and business development activities to generate new opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
  • Present products, conduct food sampling sessions, and provide menu proposals
  • Participate in joint sales visits with distributor sales representatives
  • Support exhibitions, training workshops, promotional events, and product demonstrations
  • Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor information
  • Maintain sales records and submit regular customer visit reports
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business growth initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Prior experience in sales, retail, customer service, hospitality, F&B, or recruitment will be advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable meeting customers and building relationships
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Passion for sales and business development
  • Interest in the food service industry is a plus
