The posting

WriteHaus Asia is inviting applications for a 6-month Junior Social Media Marketing Executive Trainee Programme for candidates who want to build real experience in social media, marketing, podcasting, content creation, storytelling, digital platforms, offline visibility and campaign execution.

This is a structured trainee programme, not an internship. The programme is designed around real project involvement, active contribution and hands-on execution, with the aim of preparing the candidate for possible progression into a full-time role after 6 months.

As a Social Media Marketing Executive Trainee, you will work inside a creative media agency and support the growth of both OpenHaus Podcast and WriteHaus Asia across social media, content rollouts, podcast marketing, audience engagement, campaign support and visibility-building efforts.

You will work closely with the creative, production and marketing teams to support OpenHaus episodes, WriteHaus Asia marketing efforts, social media content, campaign planning, offline outreach initiatives and day-to-day execution work.

About WriteHaus Asia

WriteHaus Asia is a creative media agency working across branding, content, podcast production, public relations, video production, social media and digital marketing.

We also produce OpenHaus Podcast, a long-form podcast and content platform with over 4 million YouTube views, 140,000 watch hours, and episodes curated for Singapore Airlines KrisWorld.

What You Will Be Involved With

1. Social Media - Content Creation & Marketing

You will support the planning, coordination and rollout of social media content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn for both OpenHaus and WriteHaus Asia.

This includes helping the team turn content ideas into published posts, reels, articles and short-form videos, while supporting day-to-day tasks such as captions, uploads, scheduling and platform checks.

The role will also involve observing trends, audience reactions and content formats that can help improve reach and engagement.

You will be involved in how social media calendars, platform strategies and content rollouts are planned, executed, reviewed and improved as part of wider marketing and brand-building efforts.

2. Podcast - Production and Episode Marketing

You will support the marketing and rollout of OpenHaus podcast episodes, from guest research and topic development to social media planning and content promotion. This includes helping the team identify strong audience angles, episode hooks and campaign ideas that can make each episode more relevant, engaging and shareable.

The role will also involve supporting filming days through behind-the-scenes content, guest marketing materials and social media capture. You will help coordinate episode marketing assets such as teasers, snippets, captions, thumbnails and posting schedules, while supporting the release of each episode across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms.

Through this, you will be part of how a podcast episode is packaged, marketed and distributed to build visibility, audience growth and brand value.

3. Marketing - Partnerships and Commercial Opportunities

You will be involved in coming up with marketing plans and strategies for both WriteHaus Asia and OpenHaus. This includes supporting monthly marketing planning across campaign ideas, content angles, platform focus, audience growth, partnership opportunities and commercial visibility.

For OpenHaus, this includes supporting the marketing of each episode through clear launch angles, teaser ideas, social media pushes, guest-led promotion, post-release content and audience engagement efforts.

You will also help identify partnership and commercial opportunities around OpenHaus episodes.

This may include brand collaborations, guest-related tie-ins, sponsorship leads, community partnerships, event extensions and revenue opportunities that can add value beyond content alone.

You will support the execution of approved marketing plans across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and relevant offline touchpoints.

4.Who We Are Looking For

This programme is open to fresh graduates, early-career candidates, or students currently pursuing a qualification in Business, Media, Communications, Marketing, Mass Communication, Design, Film, or a related discipline.

You should have a strong interest in marketing and social media, with an interest in content creation, podcasting, branding, storytelling and execution work. Good writing ability, attention to detail and a willingness to be hands-on are important for this role.

Familiarity with platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn is expected.

Knowledge of tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar platforms will be an added advantage.

The role will suit candidates who want to grow in a real creative media environment, contribute to actual projects and be considered for a full-time position after the 6-month programme.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
