The posting

KeyAccountabilities

· Coordinates the dailyactivities and supervises the execution of the work.

· Planning in thelaboratory.

· Supervision ofcompliance with the safety rules within the department.

· Monitors the operationof the equipment.

· Acts as the point ofcontact for the Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Management.

· Daily activities arecoordinated, questions are answered and problems are solved.

· The quality of workwithin the department is monitored to ensure that they meet the standards.

· Solves more complexproblems.

· Monitor Analytical andpost analytical issues related to samples including investigation andremediation of the same.

· Proposals made tooptimize work processes and procedures and work regulations have been drawn up.

Requirement

Minimum 8-10 years’ workexperience in a central lab or clinical laboratory.

· Control of MS Office andthe Software packages of the devices at the laboratory.

· Use of Biorad URT /similar application.

· Troubleshooting related to assay , QC or PT failures.
