Join Maybank Singapore to lead the enterprise Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) function, owning strategy, standards, and operations for a trusted source of technology service assets and configuration items.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the Bank's SACM strategy and roadmap to enhance technology asset governance
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive, authoritative inventory of service assets across hardware, software, cloud, cryptographic, open-source, and third-party components
- Drive asset discovery, data reconciliation, and remediation processes to improve asset visibility and ensure high data quality
- Oversee asset lifecycle governance including onboarding, maintenance, and decommissioning to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
- Lead automation initiatives and manage the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow CMDB and ITAM capabilities to streamline asset management
- Develop and monitor governance metrics, key risk indicators (KRIs), and reporting frameworks to support audit and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with Technology, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to strengthen asset management practices bank-wide
- Sustain SACM capabilities as an ongoing service to support effective service management, risk mitigation, cost optimization, and informed decision-making.
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Service Asset Management, Configuration Management, CMDB, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of ITIL SACM, asset lifecycle management, data reconciliation, and governance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, and Discovery; familiarity with Device42 or ManageEngine is advantageous
- Proficiency with Power Platform tools including Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI
- Good understanding of technology risk, audit, and regulatory requirements in a financial services environment
- Demonstrated stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
