The posting

About the Role

You’ll be involved in substantive legal work at every level — advising on policy changes, drafting and vetting contracts and legislation, liaising with the Attorney-General’s Chambers, and where required, conducting prosecutions under relevant statutory legislation.

What You Will Do

Legal Advisory

  • Render advice and practical solutions on a wide range of legal issues, including contract law, intellectual property law, corporate governance, criminal law, employment law, family law, and regulatory matters
  • Analyse new policies, advise on required legislative changes, and draft or propose legislation amendments, including liaising with the Attorney-General’s Chambers

Contract Drafting & Review

  • Draft, vet, and provide legal advice on a range of contracts, MOUs, terms and conditions, and other documents, including those related to goods and services, IT, construction, investments, real estate, and non-disclosure agreements

Prosecution & Enforcement

  • Where required, be involved in the prosecution of statutory offences, including preparing and conducting mentions, pre-trial conferences, and trials, as well as handling enforcement and investigation-related legal matters

Legal Education & Legal Technology

  • Conduct educational legal talks for internal stakeholders
  • Be involved in legal technology and AI-enabled initiatives to improve legal processes and service delivery

What We Are Looking For

  • Trained in Law and qualified under the Legal Profession Act
  • At least 1 year of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE)
  • Relevant experience in legal advisory, contract drafting and review, legal research, and stakeholder management in private practice and/or an in-house legal environment
