The posting

Location: Novena Square, Singapore Department: Legal Department Salary: $5,000 – $7,000 per month + Completion Bonus Contract Duration: 1 year (renewable based on performance & business needs) Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide practical and comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of matters, including contract law, intellectual property, corporate governance, criminal law, employment law, family law, and CPF-related regulatory matters.
  • Support policy development by analysing new policies, advising on legislative requirements, and drafting or proposing legislative amendments in liaison with the Attorney-General’s Chambers.
  • Draft, review, and advise on contracts, MOUs, terms and conditions, and other legal documents relating to goods and services, IT, construction, investments, real estate, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex legal issues.
  • Deliver legal talks and support legal technology initiatives.
  • Where required, assist with prosecution matters under the Central Provident Fund Act, including preparing for and conducting court mentions, pre-trial conferences, and trials.
  • Handle legal matters relating to enforcement and investigations.

Requirements

  • Law degree and qualification to practise under the Legal Profession Act.
  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Relevant experience in legal advisory, contract drafting and review, legal research, and stakeholder management, preferably in private practice and/or an in-house legal environment.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal issues.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate legal matters clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Experience using AI tools and technology to improve productivity, work processes, or service delivery will be an advantage.
