Job Summary

Support legal teams by drafting and administering contracts, conducting legal research, managing court filings, and assisting with regulatory compliance and corporate secretarial duties to ensure effective legal operations.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and administer commercial contracts, vendor agreements, tenancy leases, and corporate documents to ensure legal accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct legal research on relevant laws to support lawyers in drafting precise legal documents
  • Manage court documentation and perform electronic filings using systems such as e-Litigation to facilitate case management
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives by maintaining corporate databases and assisting with corporate secretarial duties
  • Communicate professionally with clients, external vendors, and regulatory authorities to coordinate legal and compliance matters

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in Paralegal Studies or Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Prior experience in commercial contracts, corporate secretarial work, or litigation support
  • Familiarity with litigation, corporate law, or conveyancing relevant to the industry focus
  • Strong analytical abilities applied to legal tasks
  • High attention to detail in reviewing and managing legal documents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and professional interactions
