Job Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for M&E components.
- Develop and manage budgets for M&E aspects of construction projects.
- Monitor budget allocations, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Assist in the negotiation and administration of contracts with M&E sub-contractors.
- Lead M&E teams, providing guidance for successful project completion.
- Manage M&E aspects of construction and tender projects.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts.
- Ensure M&E systems meet standards and specifications, adhering to regulations and standards.
- Identify and address potential risks to prevent delays.
- Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records, including project plans, drawings, and technical specifications, to support project documentation and future maintenance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for M&E related matters, addressing client concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Resolve technical issues and challenges related to M&E systems promptly, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and objectives.
- Fulfill other assigned duties or related tasks as required by management.
Job Requirement
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination.
- Holding a Professional Engineering (PE) certification or other relevant qualifications in M&E engineering (e.g., CEng, LEED accreditation) is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Singapore's construction industry.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills with all internal and external teams involved in the project.
