We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Functional Consultant to join our application maintenance team and support the ongoing operation, enhancement, and optimisation of enterprise business systems built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem.

Job Description:

As a Maintenance Functional Consultant, you will work closely with business users, technical specialists, and other functional team members to maintain and continuously improve enterprise applications.

You will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into practical functional solutions, configuring Microsoft business applications, supporting integrations, resolving functional issues, and ensuring system changes are properly tested and documented.

The role will involve working across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power BI, business processes, reporting, workflow automation, and system integrations within a production support and maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem in line with approved business and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their processes, challenges, and enhancement needs, and translate these into clear functional requirements and solution designs.
  • Prepare functional specifications, process flows, configuration requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria for system changes and enhancements.
  • Analyse integration requirements between Dynamics 365 and external applications from a business process, functional, and data perspective.
  • Support the configuration and ongoing maintenance of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI where applicable.
  • Investigate functional issues raised by users, identify underlying process or data-related causes, and coordinate appropriate resolution with technical teams where necessary.
  • Plan and execute functional, system, and regression testing to confirm that system changes operate as expected.
  • Work with business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test preparation, issue clarification, defect follow-up, and acceptance validation.
  • Assess the functional impact of proposed system changes and support business readiness before releases are introduced into the production environment.
  • Assist with release activities through user communications, training, validation, and post-deployment support.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date functional documentation, including specifications, configuration records, process maps, operating procedures, user guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Support initiatives involving workflow automation, operational reporting, business insights, customer analytics, and continuous system improvement.
  • Collaborate with technical developers, integration specialists, support teams, and other functional consultants to ensure solutions work effectively across the wider application landscape.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify business processes, improve user experience, and increase the effective use of existing Microsoft platforms.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the application maintenance team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in enterprise application functional consulting, business systems, ERP/CRM implementation, or application support.
  • Degree, Diploma, or equivalent professional qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working as a Functional Consultant, Business Applications Consultant, ERP/CRM Consultant, Application Support Consultant, or similar role.
  • Practical experience supporting, configuring, or enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable enterprise business applications.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process analysis, functional specification development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations, functional designs, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience troubleshooting functional, process, and data-related application issues.
  • Familiarity with system integration concepts and the ability to analyse integration requirements from a business and functional perspective.
  • Experience preparing and conducting functional testing, regression testing, and supporting UAT activities.
  • Understanding of change, release, and production support processes within an enterprise application environment.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to maintain clear functional specifications, process documentation, user guides, and operating procedures.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Candidates must be available to work on a shift or roster basis, including weekends and Singapore Public Holidays, in accordance with operational requirements.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Sales, Customer Insights, or Commerce will be preferred.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement applications, or Dynamics 365 Commerce in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, or other Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Experience supporting ERP, CRM, retail, customer engagement, or commerce-related business processes.
  • Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, customer analytics, workflow automation, or operational intelligence solutions.
  • Understanding of integration scenarios involving Dynamics 365 and third-party platforms.
  • Knowledge of or experience working with omni-channel and multi-touchpoint e-commerce systems, customer journeys, order flows, integrations, and operational workflows will be highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience working in an application maintenance, managed services, or long-term production support environment.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Power BI would be advantageous.
