About Us

Founded in 1993, Z Fencing is a pioneer in character-centered enrichment and sports education, using the discipline of fencing to nurture values such as focus, discipline and determination.

We’ve helped develop Singapore’s top fencers and guided countless students towards excellence in both academics and life. At Z Fencing, we believe in nurturing “Champions in Life” — individuals who embody both sporting skill and strong character.

Position Overview

We are inviting motivated individuals to join us as Management Trainee (Fencing & Character Development) — a structured program designed to build future leaders in both sports education and business management.

This is not just a coaching job. You’ll be part of a leadership development pathway that combines hands-on coaching, program operations, and team management. Through mentoring and structured training, you’ll learn to manage classes, events, and club operations — preparing you for future leadership roles within the organization.

No fencing experience is required — we’ll provide full training. What matters most is your passion, humility, and drive to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver life skills and character development lessons through fencing to children and youth.
  • Lead by example as a positive role model and mentor to students.
  • Monitor and report on students’ progress and development.
  • Establish rapport and communicate regularly with parents.
  • Build positive relationships with teammates through regular communication.
  • Contribute ideas to improve programs and overall club operations.
  • Assist with day-to-day club operations, including retail and membership matters.

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive training in fencing, coaching, character education, and leadership.
  • Career growth path in operations management or coaching leadership - with long-term growth opportunities.
  • Supportive and team-oriented work culture.
  • Dynamic and meaningful work that makes a difference in young lives.
  • 5-day work week (including weekends and shift hours).
  • Attractive remuneration and benefits package.

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children and youth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, energetic, and self-motivated personality.
  • Knowledge in sports science or management, fitness or early childhood or a strong interest and plan to pursue these areas as your next career move if you’re from a different field.
  • Hardworking, humble, and willing to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Open to Singapore Citizens and PRs of all educational backgrounds. WSQ graduates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
