About GFTN

The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). We convene decision-makers across finance, technology and policy to shape the future of the financial system through global partnerships that drive innovation and create positive impact worldwide.

Role Overview

The Manager, Content leads the research, development and delivery of content programmes for GFTN’s global forums and initiatives. It is a research-led role: identifying emerging industry themes, building programme agendas and session narratives, and securing senior speakers from across the public and private sectors.

It calls for a strong grasp of financial services, FinTech and emerging technologies, and the ability to turn complex developments into engaging conference discussions. Working with industry experts, policymakers, financial institutions, technology companies and internal teams, the Manager owns the content process end to end — from research through speaker briefing and on-site delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Industry Research and Topic Development

  • Research developments across financial services, FinTech and emerging technologies: AI, digital assets, quantum technologies, and the digital economy while monitoring market, regulatory and policy shifts to identify timely topics for GFTN’s global forums.
  • Engage public- and private-sector leaders, industry experts and thought leaders to understand the challenges, priorities and opportunities shaping GFTN’s key markets.
  • Produce research briefs, topic proposals and content recommendations that translate complex technical, commercial and policy developments into engaging conference themes.

2. Agenda and Session Production

  • Lead the content strategy and programme architecture for assigned forums, curating agendas that reflect industry developments, audience interests and GFTN’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop session titles, descriptions, discussion angles and key questions, and design narratives that connect each session to the broader storyline of the forum.
  • Recommend the right formats: keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats, roundtables and interactive sessions.
  • Manage the production timeline from research through final delivery, reviewing programme materials for accuracy, currency, balance and consistency.

3. Speaker Identification, Acquisition and Management

  • Identify and assess speakers, moderators and subject-matter experts, building targeted lists spanning senior executives, policymakers, regulators, investors, founders, academics and industry leaders.
  • Write invitations that make the relevance and value of participating in GFTN’s forums clear.
  • Manage speaker relationships across the production cycle: confirmations, briefings, programme updates and content coordination.
  • Run briefing calls with speakers and moderators to align on objectives and key discussion areas, and to ensure discussions are substantive, well-structured and relevant to the audience.

4. On-Site Programme Delivery

  • Provide on-site content and speaker support at GFTN forums and related events, coordinating with event operations, production and stage-management teams.
  • Brief speakers and moderators before their sessions and resolve content, agenda or programming issues as they arise, making real-time adjustments to maintain programme quality.
  • Run post-event reviews and capture insights to improve future content programmes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline: finance, business, economics, public policy, technology, journalism or communications.
  • 5–8 years in conference production, agenda programming, editorial research, business journalism or industry intelligence, with a track record of producing content for business conferences, industry forums or executive roundtables.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services, FinTech and emerging technology trends: AI, digital assets, quantum technologies, and the digital economy, with the judgement to separate substantive industry issues from general market commentary.
  • Proven ability to build conference agendas and session narratives, and to identify, secure and manage senior speakers, including C-suite executives, policymakers and regulators.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, able to simplify complex financial, regulatory and technological topics without losing accuracy.
  • Confident with senior stakeholders, organised across multiple agendas, speakers and timelines, and comfortable in a fast-paced international environment with travel to GFTN’s forums

Preferred Candidate Background

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience as a Conference Producer, Agenda Producer, Content Producer, Conference Programme Manager or Editorial/Research Lead in financial services, FinTech, technology, policy or B2B events.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
