The posting

Plan, deliver and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns, taking end-to-end ownership – from understanding the audience and objectives, through content and media execution, to performance evaluation and recommendations for improvement. The role combines campaign management, content development, digital marketing, insights and reporting, and hands-on execution.

The successful candidate should exercise sound marketing judgement, confidently manage internal stakeholders and agency partners, and be able to translate business and communications objectives into effective marketing approaches. The candidate should also be comfortable developing or adapting straightforward creative assets in-house, such as social media carousels, EDM visuals and banners, where appropriate.

What you will be working on:

1. Integrated Campaign Management

• Lead integrated marketing campaigns from strategic planning and channel selection through to implementation, optimisation and post-campaign evaluation.

• Manage campaign timelines, budgets, deliverables, approvals and dependencies to ensure effective and timely delivery.

• Develop clear briefs and manage creative, media and other agency partners, ensuring accountability for agreed objectives, budgets and timelines.

• Recommend appropriate audiences, channels, content and campaign approaches based on communications objectives, audience needs and available insights.

• Manage internal stakeholders to align on objectives and desired outcomes, translating inputs into clear recommendations and actionable direction for agencies and partners.

2. Content Development and Communications

• Develop and refine audience-facing content across campaign, social, digital and other communication touchpoints.

• Translate policy, programme and technical information into clear, engaging and accessible communications for the intended audience.

• Develop coherent campaign narratives and messages, applying sound judgement on audience, tone and context.

• Ensure content and creative executions are accurate, on-brand and consistent across channels.

3. Practical Creative Execution and Asset Production

• Develop or adapt in-house marketing assets, including social media carousels, EDM visuals, digital banners and basic short-form videos, to accelerate delivery.

• Leverage accessible creative and AI-enabled tools effectively to improve production efficiency while maintaining quality and brand consistency.

• Apply working knowledge of visual design principles, including layout, typography, imagery and visual hierarchy; professional design training is not required.

4. Insights, Measurement and Reporting

• Analyse campaign performance metrics, audience research and relevant data sources to gather meaningful insights and identify optimisation opportunities.

• Translate findings into clear recommendations to inform campaign decisions and optimisation.

• Prepare concise reports and presentations for management, highlighting outcomes, implications and recommended next steps.

Requirements

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

• Strong critical and strategic thinking, with sound marketing judgement and the confidence to form a point of view and make recommendations.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage priorities, timelines, budgets and multiple workstreams independently.

• Effective stakeholder and agency management skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and navigate differing perspectives.

• Ability to interpret campaign data, research and insights and translating them into practical recommendations.

• Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent platforms.

• Familiarity with AI tools for ideation, writing, research, image or video production, with sound judgement regarding accuracy, copyright and responsible use.

• Proficiency in another official language, such as Chinese, Malay or Tamil, would be an advantage.

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in marketing, communications or a related field.

• Experience in digital marketing, paid social, media planning or campaign optimisation.

• Experience working with creative, media or production agencies.

• Strong attention to detail and quality, particularly for public-facing content and creative assets.

• Proactive, resourceful and comfortable working independently through ambiguity and changing requirements.

1. Thinking Clearly and Making Sound Judgements

• You collect and analyse different sources of information to aid your assessment of the problem at hand.

• You consider and evaluate possible solutions and propose the most appropriate one.

2. Serving with Heart, Commitment and Purpose

• You serve citizens with empathy while respecting standard operating procedures and policies.

• You prioritise work tasks to deliver on agency and whole-of-government outcomes.

• You show consideration for stakeholders by engaging them throughout a project and keeping them updated on plans and progress.

3. Working as One Public Service

• You understand how your work contributes to whole-of-government outcomes.

• You reconcile differences in opinions and develop a plan to achieve common goals.

• You contribute and share information and knowledge within and across agencies.

• You build and maintain a strong network of contacts within and across agencies.

4. Working Effectively with Citizens and Stakeholders

• You actively reach out to citizens and stakeholders to gather feedback.

• You identify gaps in meeting their needs and propose possible solutions to close these gaps.

• You work with citizens and stakeholders to co-create solutions to advance a common good.

• You explain policy intent and processes in a way that signals care and concern for citizens and stakeholders.

5. Improving and Innovating Continuously

• You constantly experiment with ideas to improve work processes and service delivery while managing risks and mitigating the potential impact of change.

• You consider the perspectives of different stakeholders in your efforts to streamline work processes.

6. Keep Learning and Putting Skills into Action

• You proactively keep up with, and apply, new knowledge in your work domain.

• You seek and embrace learning opportunities for personal and professional growth within and beyond your work domain.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
