The posting
- Develops manufacturing processes for new products, equipment and set-up.
- Generate and release technical documents (e.g. BOM, work instructions, Route card).
- Conduct training for shopfloor personnel.
- Provide timely support to investigate and resolve process, equipment and part issues.
- Implement Engineering changes for improvements (process, NCR, CAPA, complaints).
- Lead pFMEA activities and perform equipment qualification and process validation.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Participate in product transfer activities or new project.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Education
· Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in manufacturing and assembly of medical devices will be an added advantage
- Experience with laser welding, marking, and cutting processes is an advantage.
Skills
- Hands-on experience on Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process Validation
- Manufacturing process know-how and troubleshooting
- Problem solving skills
- Communication skills
- Six sigma trained preferred.
