Job Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for new products, equipment, and production set-ups.
- Prepare, review, and release technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), Work Instructions, Route Cards, and other relevant process documents.
- Conduct training for shopfloor personnel on manufacturing processes, work instructions, and equipment operations.
- Provide timely technical support to investigate and resolve manufacturing process, equipment, and component-related issues.
- Implement engineering changes and process improvements arising from process issues, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and customer complaints.
- Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (pFMEA) activities to identify potential process risks and implement appropriate controls.
- Perform equipment qualification and process validation activities in accordance with established requirements and procedures.
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising relevant data, information, and trends.
- Participate in product transfer activities and new product or project implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirement
- Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing and assembly will be an advantage.
- Experience with laser welding, laser marking, and laser cutting processes will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (pFMEA) and process validation.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting techniques.
- Six Sigma training or certification will be an advantage.
