MakBesar is a Singapore social enterprise specializing in events, halal F&B, public-space management, and community programming. We support home-grown micro-entrepreneurs and manage large-scale consumer events and public-sector services with a focus on service and impact.

Job Summary

You will create and manage engaging bilingual social media content, coordinate vendor recruitment and partnerships, run digital campaigns, and support event-day coverage to drive community engagement and event success.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, edit, and caption reels and posts for Instagram, TikTok, and Threads in English and Malay to engage diverse audiences
  • Manage @makbesarsg and event social media accounts, Telegram broadcast channels, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile using a live content calendar
  • Support vendor recruitment by creating EDMs and broadcasts to a 3,000+ vendor network, following up on enquiries, and tracking weekly booth take-up with sales leads
  • Manage Eventbrite listings and pre-registrations, execute paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and Google, and report campaign performance
  • Coordinate creator and influencer partnerships, monitor sponsor deliverables, and report outcomes
  • Maintain attendee and vendor databases, conduct post-event surveys, and update the weekly marketing dashboard for data-driven insights
  • Provide event-day content creation and live coverage, including weekends and evenings during event weeks, to maximize event visibility

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, Media, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with social media accounts such as, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, and CapCut, demonstrated through a portfolio or personal account
  • Strong written communication skills in English and Malay to produce bilingual content
  • Ability to work efficiently on-site at large public events, managing fast-paced environments

Other Information

  • This role requires working during event weeks, including weekends and evenings, to provide live content coverage
  • Singapore Citizen or PR status is preferred.
