The posting

NLCS (Singapore) believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success and that contributions should not be limited by the assigned responsibilities.

Therefore, this position description is designed to outline primary duties, qualifications, and job scope, but not limit the employee, nor NLCS (Singapore), to only the work identified. It is the expectation of the school that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our organisation.

Our School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The School expects all teaching staff, non‐teaching staff and volunteers to share and uphold this commitment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Executive will take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of the School’s marketing activities across campaigns, content, digital, events, partnerships and communications.

Working within the School’s agreed marketing strategy, the role is expected to be proactive, bring forward ideas and opportunities, lead projects through to completion and ensure marketing activity is delivered accurately, consistently and on time.

The role requires someone who can think beyond execution, understand the purpose behind each initiative and recommend practical ways to strengthen the School’s visibility, engagement and admissions objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Campaigns & Marketing Delivery

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of agreed marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Proactively propose campaign ideas, themes, content opportunities and improvements.
  • Develop first drafts of campaign messaging, concepts and supporting content for review.
  • Own campaign timelines, actions, approvals and follow-ups through to completion.

2. Content, PR & Communications

  • Develop content for social media, emailers, website, PR, third-party deliverables and marketing materials.
  • Develop and maintain a regular pipeline of blogs, thought leadership articles, school stories and long-form website content aligned with marketing and admissions priorities.
  • Proactively identify student, staff, academic, enrichment and community stories.
  • Develop story angles and content ideas that strengthen the School’s positioning and reputation.
  • Gather information from academic and non-academic teams and turn it into engaging marketing content.
  • Support PR opportunities by preparing content, background information, imagery and other required materials.
  • Identify content opportunities that strengthen the School’s authority and discoverability across SEO, GEO and AEO.
  • Maintain a forward content pipeline aligned with School marketing and admissions priorities.

3. Digital Presence, Social Media & Website

  • Own and manage the monthly social media and digital content calendar.
  • Lead day-to-day social media publishing and content scheduling.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve reach, engagement and content performance.
  • Monitor comments, messages and online engagement, escalating sensitive matters where appropriate.
  • Keep website content, imagery, event information and downloadable materials accurate and current.
  • Identify areas of the website requiring updates or improvements and take them forward with the relevant teams.
  • Support the continuous development of the School’s digital presence through SEO, GEO and AEO, including website content, blogs, FAQs, landing pages and other relevant content.
  • Identify and recommend content and website improvements based on search behaviour, emerging queries and marketing priorities.
  • Work with relevant internal and external teams to ensure content is structured and optimised for traditional search engines and AI-led discovery platforms.
  • Monitor organic visibility, website engagement and content performance and recommend areas for improvement.

4. Events & Community Marketing

  • Own the marketing requirements for admissions events, Open Houses, education fairs, community activities and outreach initiatives.
  • Develop event promotion plans and ensure digital, creative, signage, collateral and content requirements are delivered on time.
  • Review and maintain the Marketing Events Calendar and plan marketing activity sufficiently in advance.
  • Support live content and social media coverage at key events.
  • Identify content opportunities from events for future marketing use.

5. Brand, Collateral & Multimedia

  • Ensure approved brand guidelines are consistently followed across marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Lead the development and production of routine marketing and event collateral.
  • Review materials for accuracy, consistency and quality before production or publication.
  • Identify photography and videography requirements for campaigns and key School events.
  • Brief and manage routine requirements with photographers, videographers, designers and production suppliers as required.
  • Maintain an organised and current library of photography, video and marketing assets.
  • Ensure appropriate student photography, filming permissions and safeguarding requirements are followed.

6. Partnerships, Listings & Marketing Opportunities

  • Research and recommend relevant third-party platforms, editorial listings, directories, partnerships and marketing opportunities for annual engagement.
  • Identify opportunities that support SEO, GEO and AEO visibility, brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Maintain and regularly review School profiles across education portals, directories and external listings.
  • Support delivery of agreed marketing requirements for partnerships and external collaborations.
  • Ensure partner branding and marketing assets remain consistent with School guidelines.
  • Monitor agreed third-party deliverables and ensure required content and assets are supplied within deadlines.

7. Reporting, Suppliers & Marketing Operations

  • Prepare quarterly marketing reports covering campaigns, social media, website activity, digital visibility and other agreed performance metrics, working with relevant team members to consolidate inputs.
  • Maintain and develop trackers and reports for management review, internal planning and marketing strategy alignment.
  • Maintain accurate marketing trackers, calendars and project records.
  • Obtain supplier quotations and manage routine production requirements within approved parameters.
  • Track supplier deliverables, timelines and quality, escalating issues where required.
  • Maintain records of marketing expenditure, purchase requests, invoices and associated documentation.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of marketing collateral, branded materials and event assets.

8. Cross-Departmental Working & Ownership

  • Build strong working relationships with Admissions, Academic Teams, Events, Partnerships and Business Development, Parent Engagement, Finance and other School departments.
  • Take ownership of agreed marketing requests and ensure they are followed through to completion.
  • Manage competing deadlines and escalate priorities where appropriate.
  • Proactively identify opportunities across School activities that could support marketing, reputation or admissions objectives.
  • Bring forward ideas and recommendations rather than relying solely on assigned tasks.
  • Contribute actively to marketing planning discussions and team initiatives.

Safeguarding:

  • Abide by the school safeguarding policy and keep abreast of any changes.
  • Ensure appropriate safeguarding, consent and privacy requirements are followed in relation to student photography, filming and marketing content.

Ad Hoc:

  • Undertake other reasonable responsibilities and provide additional support as required in line with the evolving business needs of the AMC Department.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
